The waitress dropped off the bill and ran away. Little to no taste at all besides grease. The other food that was ordered was really bland. She took the taco salad back and brought another one right away. Had to wait another ten minutes before the waitress showed up in the room. My wife and our friend ordered a taco salad and one of them came out burnt to a crisp. Food was brought out after about 15 minutes. because everyone else knew what they wanted. Waitress came back right away and asked what we wanted to order. We were sat right away and got a drink delivered. My wife and I came to lacrosse to see some friends and was suggested we try tequila. I am glad to see the improvements as the owner has always been very welcoming to us. Rice and beans were about the same as always. My wife got the Chef's Special which she really enjoyed and had plenty to take home. Also the condiments included with Fajitas now have shredded cheese which is nice. The amount of chicken and beef was more than in the past. Tonight I got the Fajitas Jalisco and the flavor was very good. It's hard to stop eating them so I have room for my dinner. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. The food the last two times has been very good. But so do other restaurants with similar food. As this is in the college area it tends to get busy and can be noisy. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. But we have started going back recently since the owner sold the Onalaska location to focus on the La Crosse. We were frequent customers of Tequila's but had found the food quality had diminished so we had stopped going there as there was another alternative.
